I'm writing to share my opposition to [HB466/SB172 - HB for Reps, SB for Senators]. This bill was assigned to the Education committee and would ban all transgender youth from participating in school sports as their true selves. This bill sets up a new system of discrimination in Louisiana schools, where transgender students already face extreme levels of bullying and harassment.
Please vote NO on this bill.
